GROUP MISSION.

Matimba Arts Group works through arts and theatre performances to empower young men and female to become active citizens who can participate productively in social, economic and decision making processes.

Promotion of Tanzanian Culture.

The project facilitated the employment of our people, for instance  seven people who were involved  in our show projects were employed overseas (Europe) and other two were self employed in their areas. Also we have been involved in various social/cultural activities  which aimed at providing education to the community mainly on HIV/AIDS and Environmental conservation through our shows/arts in general.

Good settlements around protected areas.

We were able to inform people on the possible impacts which are likely to happen when people establishes their settlement near protected areas. Local people became informed about various human wildlife conflicts that usually persist nearly all protected areas.
